Accessible Parking Permit (SPARC BC)

BC's accessible parking placard for people with mobility limitations — hang it from the rear-view mirror and it's valid whether you're driving or riding as a passenger.

What it is

SPARC BC issues the accessible parking permits recognized in designated spaces across British Columbia. Three types exist: permanent (valid 3 years, renewable), temporary (1 to 12 months, not renewable — reapply if still needed), and conditional (3 years, not renewable). The permit belongs to the person, not a car, and must be displayed on the rear-view mirror while parked.

Who it is for

SPARC BC is the non-profit that administers BC's permit program. Fees are set by SPARC BC; confirm the current fee and any available hardship assistance on its site.

Amount or value
