WorkBC Assistive Technology Services

Funding for assistive technology you need to get or keep a job: devices and equipment, ergonomic furniture, communication and hearing devices, ASL interpreting and captioning, workplace modifications — even vehicle modifications for getting to work.

What it is

Assistive Technology Services (ATS) removes equipment barriers between you and employment. It funds assistive devices and technology, ergonomic supports like furniture and lighting, restorative supports, ASL interpreting and captioning, communication and hearing devices for work, workplace access modifications, and vehicle modifications needed for employment. How much is covered depends on your financial circumstances.

Who it is for

Covers work-related needs only — not medical treatments or daily-living items. Delivered under contract to the province with regional offices in Burnaby, Kelowna, Nanaimo and Victoria.

How to apply
