Work-Able Accessible Employment Program (BC Public Service)
A paid internship program in the BC Public Service for recent post-secondary graduates who self-identify as having a disability — any physical, sensory, neurological, visible or invisible disability.
What it is
Work-Able coordinates paid internship opportunities across the BC Public Service for recent graduates with disabilities, for up to 24 months. Participants get government work experience, a peer cohort of other graduates with disabilities, exposure to different career paths, and post-program access to internal job postings.
Who it is for
Intake runs annually. Applications for the 2026/27 cohort are closed — the next intake for the 2027/28 cohort opens in spring 2027. Graduates keep access to internal BC Public Service job postings for 24 months after completing the program.
