B.C. Supplemental Bursary for Students with Disabilities
A non-repayable bursary to help with the cost of post-secondary education for students with a permanent, or persistent or prolonged, disability. Full-time and part-time students both qualify.
What it is
This non-repayable bursary helps eligible full-time and part-time students with a permanent, or persistent or prolonged, disability pay post-secondary education costs at B.C. public post-secondary schools.
Who it is for
There is a transition rule for students who were at a non-public school in 2025/26 and had already received this bursary — they may request to continue receiving it until they finish their program or until July 31, 2029.
Amount or value
$800 per program year full-time, or $400 per program year part-time
